I am now running Windows XP Professional. I've found it to be as stable as Windows 2000, which is very stable and a joy to run compared to Windows 98/ME. Still haven't made the jump to Linux.
This computer cost somewhere around $500 in December 2002.
I purchased parts from PCInfinity, ABS, and Newegg over the Internet.
